Significant steps were made this week toward the creation of 210 affordable housing units in the Clinton Neighborhood (Hell’s Kitchen) a reality. Our long-time client Clinton Housing Development Company, a leader in affordable housing for many years, along with Taconic Investment Partners and Ritterman Capital, have received overwhelming support from Community Board 4 for the re-zoning and development of three (3) locations which will provide over 200 units of affordable housing along with market-rate housing. Linked to this development are our projects Captain Post and 464 West 25th Street, each of which will provide high-quality, permanent affordable housing as well as tenant amenities in existing pre-war buildings. Captain Post specifically has an historical significance which has qualified the project for NY State Historic Preservation Office’s funding. Construction on both projects is planned to begin this year.
